Mummy’s Place Rated Best Private School in Nigeria

The 5th of October 2022 will indeed go down as a day to remember in Mummy’s Place International Nursery and Primary school, as the school was chosen as the overall winner of the Best Private School in Nigeria, in a well-attended ceremony held at the Eagle Square in Abuja. 

The award which came with a brand new 18-seater Bus presented by the vice president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria ProfessorYemi Osinbajo was dedicated to God, the children, the parents and the teachers of our great school.

It was a moment of joyous celebration on the 11th of October 2022 as the Proprietress Dr Damilola Oshin, was given a heroic welcome immediately after receiving the award. It was like a triumphant entry as representatives of the Ondo State government, parents, teachers and pupils of Mummy’s Place International Nursery and Primary School, all converged to celebrate the Award as the Best Private School in Nigeria.

Speaking at a reception organised to celebrate the award, Dr Oshin expressed her delight over the award, describing the award as a miracle. According to her, the school has always done their best in improving children’s education, thereby leading to recognition by the Federal Government. She noted that Mummy’s Place International School believed so much in children and such belief has kept it going in spite of challenges in the education sector. She added that pupils in Mummy’s Place were well-loved and cared for by their teachers.

Mrs Dunni Famewo, a director in the Ondo State Ministry of Education while congratulating the school and the proprietress, added that the award was well deserved. She added that the school had made the state proud.

Mrs Mary Johnson, a Parent opined that she was happy to have her wards at the school and to be identified with the proprietress of the school. “I am happy because the woman is a success and an embodiment of success. She’s a big role model to the parents and the children as well”.

Mrs Omolola Awodunmila who is also a parent stated that the award was a well-deserved one and what made it special was persistence and focus, stressing that the students and the management are superb.

Another parent, Mr Festus Okundalaye while rejoicing with the management of the school, noted that the foundation of the school was strong and built on Godliness and morals.

The Proprietor used the occasion to decry the depletion of educational standards and industrial actions in the country. Dr Oshin remarked that every parent should be worried about the ongoing ASUU strike. She opined that the only way out was to pray to God to intervene.
